A few tips for writing and sharing your Platform Story
Your contribution should either be in a Word document sent by email. Please do not embed photos in a word document – send them as attachments.
Platform will edit the post as we see fit but always be true to your story and voice. Editing will be for ease of reading, spelling, structure, links and content.
If you feel uncomfortable writing your story down to share, we would love you to make a short video (using the Platform questions as a guide) to share or tell your story to someone else who may be able to write it down for you.
Please send through five to eight good quality pictures you’re comfortable with sharing online. If you are with others in the image, please ensure you identify who they are if possible, and that they have agreed to have their image published.
If you are writing about or sending images of your child or children, please ensure any photographs, films, videos present children in a dignified and respectful manner and not in a vulnerable or submissive manner. Children should be adequately clothed and not in poses that could be seen as sexually suggestive.
Any stories, videos, information and images provided by you may be used on the Platform webpage/Facebook page for distribution and may be used in Platform related marketing and Platform publications.
